In the fourth quarter, with Clemson up 13-10, Troy got a goal-line stop when the ball popped out and was clearly recovered by the Trojans, who then took it all the way to the house.

The controversy then was clear, as referees refused to take another look at the play, maintaining the sideline official had blown the play dead and the Tigers maintained possession.

On a replay of the play, you can't hear a whistle until the Troy player is already 10+ yards down the field.

Clemson would score on the very next play to extend its lead to 20-10. There's still plenty of time left in the fourth quarter, but a backbreaking missed call like that could be crucial down the stretch.
