After nearly losing his life in stabbing incident, talented 6'4" DE loads up with final 6

What could have been a tragic incident has turned around.

Deandre Johnson, a 6'4, 236-pound defensive end out of Florida dropped a pretty hefty final six that included Tennessee, Mississippi State, Auburn, Cal, Maryland and West Virginia:

Johnson is predicted to land at South Carolina, per 247sports' Crystal Ball. But Johnson is lucky to be back on the field, after suffering a severed artery and punctured lung in what police called an unprovoked attack with a butcher knife, per CBS.

According to the report, the girl who attacked Johnson had mental issues stemming from an alleged rape, which occurred at a separate school by football players. Once she transferred to Killian High, the report alleges she was ridiculed and bullied.
