Alabama may be college football's dominant power, but even they aren't immune to setbacks.

The Crimson Tide have lost two previous quarterbacks this season, as Blake Barnett is on his way to Arizona State and Cooper Bateman announced his intention to transfer earlier this week. Now, Alabama is set to lose a third quarterback, as Class of 2013 product David Cornwell announced his intention to transfer after his graduation.
Appreciate every moment at Alabama! This is my statement on transferring. pic.twitter.com/dSm5viUYUq

Here's why this could be a huge problem for Alabama: neither Cornwell nor the reports for Bateman say if either quarterback will be around for the College Football Playoff at the end of the season. If both are leaving before then, freshman starter Jalen Hurts would be the only scholarship quarterback on the team.
Freshman walk-on Montana Murphy is listed on the roster in case of emergency.
