Another Ohio State DB is transferring, this time for an admirable reason

Ohio State is losing another defensive back to transfer.

Ohio State's attrition in the secondary continues as another defensive back has announced his transfer from the school.

Defensive back Rodjay Burns announced his departure from Ohio State via Instagram, and he said his father's health was the reason he was leaving Columbus. Burns is transferring to Louisville.

Burns initially committed to Louisville in 2016, but he switched his commitment to Ohio State 10 days before National Signing Day.

He played in six games as a true freshman, and he had a 75-yard pick six against Bowling Green early in the year.

Ohio State lost defensive backs Malik Hooker, Gareon Conley and Marshon Lattimore to the first round of the NFL Draft, and DB Joshua Norwood announced his transfer earlier this week.

Urban Meyer will be relying on several new faces in the secondary in 2017, and depth could be an issue. The Buckeyes will be very talented across the board, but the secondary might be the team's biggest problem next fall.
