Arizona RB facing seven felonies after alleged kidnapping

This sounds really bad.

Arizona running back Orlando Bradford was arrested on Wednesday, and he is being charged with seven total felony counts: three counts of kidnapping four counts of aggravated assault.

Bradford was dismissed from the Arizona football team following the arrest, per head coach Rich Rodriguez.

According to USA Today, Bradford was arrested following a 911 call on Wednesday morning, where a woman claimed that Bradford had assaulted her for the past several days. Bradford was later apprehended without incident, and police charged him under domestic violence statutes.

Dugan said the police received a 911 call around 6:30 a.m. local time Wednesday regarding an alleged domestic violence incident.

The arriving officers noted that the alleged victim had obvious injuries, and she claimed Bradford assaulted her several times over the past few days.

Bradford, a sophomore, had rushed for 224 yards and three touchdowns in his career.
