Art Briles was fired from Baylor after reports surfaced that the coaching staff disclosed sexual assault and/or dating violence allegations, thus not allowing the University to take the proper steps to investigate the reported issues.

This isn't the first time Baylor has been investigated for some shady behavior though. Back in 2003, Patrick Dennehy was murdered by a teammate, and head coach Dave Bliss attempted to cover up the death by portraying the player as a drug dealer.
Here's details of the murder, per Sporting News:
"Carlton Dotson, another former player under Bliss, is serving a 35-year sentence for Dennehy's murder. He unexpectedly pled guilty to killing Dennehy, with whom he was said to have been close friends, several days before the case went to trial in June 2005.
After the murder, one of Bliss' assistant coaches secretly taped Bliss having a conversation with two players, instructing them to sensationalize stories to police to make it seem that Dennehy was simply another African-American casualty of the drug trade. Bliss resigned from Baylor one day after the August 2003 memorial service for Dennehy."
Per ESPN, Dotson and Dennehy received threatening telephone calls and the two bought guns for protection. Dotson reportedly told FBI agents he and Dennehy went to gravel pits for target practice when Dennehy pointed a gun at him and it jammed. According to the report, Dotson then fired at Dennehy, and autopsy reports showed he was shot once above the right ear and once behind it toward the back of the head.
He reportedly told FBI agents he thought people were trying to kill him because, "he is Jesus, the son of God."
