Baylor is losing another football player, and this one is the biggest one yet

This is a huge loss.

Congrats Baylor, you've lost a starting caliber quarterback.

Rumors surfaced on Wednesday evening that former four-star quarterback Jarrett Stidham could be leaving the program. On Thursday, Stidham gave the confirmation.

Several recruits have either decommitted or gotten out of their Letter of Intent, leaving Baylor's depth chart for the upcoming and future seasons looking a bit empty. Of course, Stidham had already made a statement on campus in his true freshman season, and looked to be the quarterback of the future.

Stidham made three starts for the Bears in 2015 after starting quarterback Seth Russell went down with a neck injury, and he mostly impressed. His first start was a 419-yard, three-touchdown performance against Kansas State on the road.

Stidham did well in his two other starts— against Oklahoma and Oklahoma State — before suffering his own season-ending injury.

Unfortunately for Baylor, it looks like that injury will be Stidham's final moment for the Bears on the field.
