Tom Herman left some good players in Houston when he took the job at Texas and it seems that one of his best ones in All-American defensive tackle Ed Oliver is a little happy about. He outlined the main difference between Herman's spring practices and new coach Major Applewhite's.

While Oliver might be upset with Herman for his comments he made earlier in the week —- he said his defensive line coach has made chicken salad out of lesser parts —- that spring practice did end up propelling him to All-America honors. It probably doesn't hurt that Oliver was a five-star prospect and the No. 6 overall recruit in the 2016 class, per 247Sports' Composite Rankings.
