Known SEC homer and Big 12 hater, Paul Finebaum, was quick to the roasting party of the Oklahoma Sooners after their annihilation at the hands of Villanova in the Final Four. However, he probably wasn't expecting a retort from Sooners quarterback Baker Mayfield.
Mayfield came back with the classic "Do you even football, bro?" line in this tweet. He questions what kind of authority Finebaum could possibly be if he's never played either of the games (football or basketball) on any sort of level.
Mayfield makes a good point. However, Finebaum has been covering sports for longer than Mayfield has been alive and so he might be considered an authority on the matter at least it pertains to the SEC.
That begs the question, why was he even watching the game? There were no SEC teams left to root for so why did he even bother? Just to troll people?
