Baylor and SMU's Chad Morris were reportedly in talks for the former Clemson offensive coordinator to become the next coach in Waco. However, the Bears kept trying to lowball Morris and it looks like he had enough of that. He and the Mustangs have come to an agreement for him to be there for some time.

There were some reports that Morris had turned them down after the second time they declined his counter offer. Well, that extension will put the nail in the coffin and definitely narrow down Baylor's choices for who they can go after for coach.
