Usually Iowa State is the home for all transfers looking to get into the Big 12, but that dynamic has been flipped on its head this offseason. Kansas has become the most popular destination for anyone looking to transfer into the conference and the Jayhawks just picked up another huge player in graduate transfer Jack Whitman from William & Mary.

Whitman played three years at William & Mary and graduated early, thus making him eligible to play immediately for the Jayhawks this season. Last season he broke out a bit for the Griffins averaging 10.1 points, 1.2 assists and 5.4 rebounds as a 6'9", 235-pound forward. He also shot 66 percent from the floor last season, but did not shoot any threes throughout his career.
He gives Kansas some much needed front court help with the loss of Carlton Bragg to a transfer, Landen Lucas to graduation and Josh Jackson to the NBA Draft.
