Heisman hopeful says these two players were the best he faced last season

Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield has been handing out some compliments this summer. He said the Tennessee Volunteers had one of the best in-game experiences he’s ever had and now he’s letting everyone in on another secret. He’s telling people who were the best two players he faced this past season and it’s no one in the Big 12.

I bet you didn’t see that one coming. Certainly Texas would have liked a better answer after they upset the Sooners 24-17 in 2015, but Dodd and Alexander were both second rounders in this year’s NFL Draft so you can’t blame him for thinking they were the best defenders he faced last season.
