Four-star defensive tackle Bobby Brown is another big body in the class of 2018 standing at 6'4" and 275 pounds. That's landed him a double digit amount of offers that he's been considering and apparently he has his top list of schools. However, he's not going to reveal it just yet and he told Scout that he's got a decision date in mind as well.
"I do have that list of favorites in my mind, but I am keeping it to myself for right now and not really putting it out there," Brown said. "I kind of do have a date in mind for my commitment though in November (2). It is my uncle's birthday and he has helped me out a lot and that is why I am going to do it then."
Brown has been on unofficial visits to Texas and Texas A&M and has enjoyed them so far. He did give an idea of some visits he's thinking about and other offers he likes.
"I grew up on LSU actually and that was always my team, and Alabama that was a big one. I am trying to visit Alabama this summer," he said.
The big man has offers from Colorado, Houston, Michigan, Missouri and Washington among others. 247Sports has Brown ranked as the No. 14 defensive tackle in the country as well as the No. 18 recruit in the state of Texas. The 247Sports crystal ball gives Oklahoma and Texas a 50-50 shot at landing him right now.
