Kansas destroys yet another Top 25 team in Texas

Kansas keeps on rolling!

Newly minted No. 1 Kansas (26-4, 14-3) absolutely demolished No. 23 Texas (19-11, 10-7) in Austin 86-56 to clinch the Big 12 regular season crown outright. It was also the eighth AP Top 25 win for the Jayhawks on the season, which is the most in Division-I this season.

The Jayhawk defense was absolutely stifling and only allowed the Longhorns to make 30 percent of their shots from the floor for the entire game and more than doubled that by hitting 64 percent of their own! Perry Ellis led all scorers with 20 points with Frank Mason chipping in 14 points and Devonte' Graham scoring 13 of his own. A ton of KU bench players got into the game and actually got some minutes because the game got out of hand so quickly.

Kansas will play No. 21 Iowa State to close out the season on Saturday at the Phog and go for 15 conference wins.
