Kansas is not exactly known as a football powerhouse and it's because they consistently fail to win games in Big 12 play. Sometimes it's bad recruiting (it's pretty hard to get kids out there), other times it's just not their year, but usually it's terrible injury luck. It looks like the Jayhawks will be suffering some more of that before the season even starts.

Quarterback Ryan Willis will be limited during upcoming spring practices after injuring his right wrist during a pickup basketball game, KU coach David Beaty announced in a release Friday.
Willis is a sophomore who started KU's final eight games last season —- all losses —- completing 52 percent of his passes for 1,719 yards with nine touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Maybe he should be concentrating more on his football than trying to play pickup basketball. 52 percent might be a good shooting percentage, but that is an awful passing one.
