Top seeded Kansas was expected to run through 16-seed Austin Peay and that's exactly what the Jayhawks did. They destroyed the Governors 105-79 behind 23 points from Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk and a hot offense all around.
Landen Lucas had 16 points and eight boards, Perry Ellis had 21 points and Wayne Selden had 14. The Jayhawks shot 55.7 percent from the floor overall and 37.5 percent from beyond the arc. Kansas will take on UConn on Saturday in Iowa.
