Lee Corso blatantly calls out one Top 10 team as "pretenders"

Doesn't look like Corso is a fan.

"They're pretenders!"

Lee Corso didn't hold back when mentioning which team he thought was a "pretender" for the upcoming season, as the former coach called out Oklahoma as a team that he expects to disappoint this upcoming season.

Desmond Howard also agreed that Oklahoma, ranked No. 7 in the preseason AP Poll, would disappoint this year.

Oklahoma was 11-2 last season and undefeated in the Big 12 last season. Heisman finalist quarterback Baker Mayfield returns, but the Sooners lost several of their top offensive playmakers with Dede Westbrook, Semaje Perine, and Joe Mixon all leaving for the NFL. The Sooners will also have some transition after Bob Stoops retired and offensive coordinator Lincoln Riley was promoted to head coach.

The three road games that Corso pointed out for Oklahoma — Ohio State, Kansas State, and Oklahoma State — will all be extremely tough tests for the 2017 Sooners football team. If Corso is right in his prediction... then it is possible that Oklahoma will lose all three of those games.
