Oklahoma's Buddy Hield is a strong candidate for the Wooden Player of the Year award as is LSU's own Ben Simmons. When LSU hosted the Sooners in the Big 12/SEC Challenge there was a little bit of vitriol directed Hield's way from the Tiger crowd. It was certainly not nice or warranted, but such is the way of hostile environments.
