It's always helpful when your quarterback can throw a good block.
Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon went off for a 66-yard touchdown run in the second quarter, but it was not without a little help from the man under center. Quarterback Baker Mayfield got out into the open field and threw a helluva block to help create the running room that Mixon needed to get into the endzone.
Oklahoma probably could have gone without the block, though; they went on to beat Oklahoma State 58-23.
