The Texas saga might be finally coming to an end after the mixed reports of Charlie Strong being fired and then the athletic director denying those reports. There were some reporters that said Strong would stay on through the TCU game next week knowing he no longer had a job afterwards, while there were some reporting that he was flat out fired.

It seems the only thing that can be agreed upon is that Strong is fired. We just don't know when the official announcement will take place or if Strong will actually coach the TCU game.
