On Wednesday, Cook announced on ESPN that he was committing to Texas over LSU and Ohio State.
Cook signed his papers after the announcement.
This is quickly becoming an insane haul for Tom Herman in his first full year recruiting at Texas. As of now, the Longhorns are projecting to finish with a Top 5 class for the 2018 recruiting cycle. Cook will be joining defensive backs BJ Foster, Caden Sterns, and Jalen Green among Texas's top commits for this class.
Cook is rated as a five-star by Rivals.com.
