Netflix is about to drop three new entries in the popular Untold series of sports documentaries. This new batch particularly focuses on former quarterback Vince Young.

Untold: The Testimony of Vince Young focuses on the meteoric rise of the quarterback and how he helped coach Mack Brown put Texas football back on the map. The documentary highlights the 2005 season in which he led the Longhorns to a stunning National Championship win over the USC Trojans.
It also highlights Young landing with the Tennessee Titans as the third overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, his relationship with the late Steve McNair, and the friction with now-former Titans coach Jeff Fisher.

Untold: The Testimony of Vince Young will not solely focus on the football side of his life. It will also highlight his struggles behind the scenes and the legal troubles he faced on various occasions. This includes filing for bankruptcy and multiple arrests for driving while intoxicated.
"In a gripping look at University of Texas football legend Vince Young's turbulent rise and fall, this documentary dives into the pressures of fame after his single, career-defining game," the Netflix synopsis states.
"Untold: The Testimony of Vince Young is a raw and emotional journey of fumbles, failures, and finding freedom."
Young, a two-time Pro Bowler, only spent six years in the NFL after being selected by the Titans. He spent five seasons in Tennessee while starting 47 of the 54 games in which he appeared.
He posted a win-loss record of 30-17, and he won Offensive Rookie of the Year. He threw for 8,098 yards, 42 touchdowns, and 42 interceptions. He rushed for 1,380 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Young's final season in the league came with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played in six games, starting three. He threw for 866 yards, four touchdowns, and nine interceptions.
This documentary will land on Netflix on Aug. 25. The streamer will then release Untold Raygun: Breaking Badly, a documentary focused on the controversial Olympic breakdancer who went viral after her performance.
The third entry in the series will be Untold Mr. T: I Pity The Fool, a documentary focused on Mr. T's rise to national prominence and how he became a beloved figure in entertainment.
