The SEC dominated this Big 12 market in TV ratings and it wasn't close

More like the Little 12, am I right?

The Big 12 is not looking like the name might imply in one of its most important TV markets. Fox26's (a Houston TV station) Mark Berman got a hold of the numbers for the top 20 games in the market according to the ratings they got. The SEC was three of the top five while another was Houston vs Temple (an AAC game).

The entire list is below and it does not look good for Big 12 fans:

Houston is deep in the heart of Big 12 country, but it does make sense for the Aggies to be in there four times considering how close they are and the following they have in the state of Texas. If TAMU can improve with transfer quarterback Trevor Knight then there might be a whole lot more Aggie love on this list next season.

Alabama making this list five times is pretty surprising though considering the Crimson Tide are not much liked outside the state of Alabama. I guess that's just the power of the SEC for you.
