4-star QB trims his list of destinations despite not having offers from a handful of teams

Some interesting choices on this one.

When most recruits drop some sort of top schools list they make sure that they have offers from those schools. However, there is the rare instance where some recruits release a list of schools they don't have offers from in hopes that those schools will get the hint and end up offering them a scholarship down the road. That might be the case for four-star dual threat quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson.

He's ranked as the No. 4 dual threat QB in the country by 247Sports and the No. 2 recruit in the state of Nevada. He plays for national powerhouse Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas and has garnered some serious attention with over 20 offers from schools currently. Of those, he has a top 12 list, including four schools he has no offers from...yet.

Those last three schools might be offering scholarships pretty soon knowing that they are wanted by the coveted QB and how good he might become under their tutelage. The 6'2", 195-pound QB will surely get to go wherever he wants by the end of his recruiting process, but we will have to keep an eye on whether or not those schools actually end up extending an offer.
