The final AP Poll of the season may have a very telling Top 4

Any foreshadowing here?

If the AP Poll is any gauge on the committee's opinion, then we have some bad news for Penn State.

The Nittany Lions came in at No. 5 in the final AP rankings, well behind No. 4 Washington in terms of votes. Overall, the Top 4 was mostly as expected: Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson, and Washington in that order.

Of other note in the poll: Wisconsin, USC, and Florida State all make the final Top 10 despite three losses on the season. Considering how things were going early, that can be considered a huge win for both the Trojans and the Seminoles.
