The Wolverines star was key in Michigan's 24-15 win over Penn State. It was a rough, hard-fought win for Michigan. The passing game for both teams was unsuccessful and running the ball proved more effective. Corum carried the ball 26 times for 145 yards and two touchdowns.
Corum was seen in the postgame press conference with a bloody face and multiple bandages over his nose.

He had a 30-yard rushing touchdown with four minutes left in the fourth quarter to seal the game for Michigan 24-9. He became the second Michigan player since 2000 to have multiple games of 140-plus rushing yards and two-plus rushing touchdowns according to the Big Ten. Corum was the best player for Michigan or Penn State on the field and proved to be the spark Michigan needed.
Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh was suspended for the final three games of the regular season by the Big 10 and did not coach against Penn State. Michigan tried to get a temporary restraining order against the Big 10's ruling, but the judge would not make a ruling. As a result, offensive coordinator Sherrone Moore was the interim head coach for the game.
"Everything that's going on right now is just bringing us closer together. We did this for Michigan," Corum said after the game.

With the win vs Penn State, Michigan improved to 10-0 on the season and has two games remaining. They travel to Maryland next week and look to continue the perfect season. They will play Ohio State at home in the final game of the season which will be a matchup of two of the best teams in the country.
