CBSSports' power five conference coaches rankings definitely got something wrong

Who's number 3? Seriously?

CBS Sports released a top 25 list of power five conference coaches and some of these names are in familiar spots while others are just downright baffling. Saban and Meyer are understandable as the 1-2 punch, but No. 3 is not a name you think of when you think of top coaches.

1. Nick Saban, Alabama
2. Urban Meyer, Ohio State
3. Gary Patterson, TCU
4. Bob Stoops, Oklahoma
5. Mark Dantonio, Michigan State
6. Jimbo Fisher, FSU
7. Les Miles, LSU
8. Dabo Swinney, Clemson
9. David Shaw, Stanford
10. Jim Harbaugh, Michigan

How is Swinney only at 8? He was on the verge of winning a title in 2015 and has led his team to 75 wins as head coach over eight full seasons. He has two conference championship and four division titles. He's also led the Tigers to five straight 10-win seasons.

Les Miles is another coach who probably deserves to be at 3 more than Patterson considering he's won 112 games in 11 seasons of coaching at LSU and led the team to a national title. He's won the SEC West three times and the conference title twice.

Harbaugh making the list at 10 also clearly demonstrates his popularity despite the fact he's only coached one year at the collegiate level. Fisher is another coach that's won a national title and should be ranked higher so let's keep that in mind too.
