Justin Fields is a five-star quarterback in the class of 2018 and he's committed to Penn State...for now. He's already said that he's going to keep his "options open" despite being "100% committed" to the Nittany Lions.

Of course, that just means schools will keep recruiting him harder and it looks like there's one school making some headway in that regard. One assistant coach from an SEC power has been going hard at Fields and the young QB has taken notice. He told 247Sports that Auburn's Chip Lindsey has been the top man on him recently.
"He's been recruiting me since he was at Arizona State so I know he's a big family guy," Fields said. "He really connects with the players and has a great relationship with them and that's what I like about him."
He added, "I love Coach Lindsey. He's a great coach."
Auburn has made it clear they want to take two quarterbacks in the recruiting cycle and if they could land Fields, they would be pretty set for life after Jarrett Stidham. The 6'3", 221-pound dual-threat QB is ranked as the No. 1 player at the position and the No. 3 player in the state of Georgia according to 247Sports. He also holds offers from Baylor, Alabama, Florida, Florida State and Georgia among a ton of others.
