Michigan State's Connor Cook valiantly fought through a likely shoulder injury to help lead his Spartans to a Big Ten title over Iowa on Saturday night. At the award ceremony afterwards, though, he was caught being a little rude to two-time Heisman winning running back Archie Griffin.

Cook later admitted to his mistake, saying that he was just caught up in the moment and that he did not mean any disrespect to the great Griffin.

Good on Cook to recognize the mistake and quickly rectifying the situation. Cook has proven in the past to be a fine leader, so this was likely a bump in what has been a great journey for him at Michigan State.
