I'll be honest, when I first heard "candy stripe uniforms", I feared the worst. That simply doesn't sound like something that would work for a football team.

However, Indiana's newest uniforms incorporate a candy stripe design, and they actually look pretty good.

The the candy stripe pattern was only incorporated on the shoulders, these definitely work. Could you imagine the disaster if they had actually gone full candy stripe on the entire jerseys? Yikes!
Indiana will wear these for their homecoming game on Oct. 15 against Nebraska.
