Tennessee is currently slaying all of the taxes and Iowa in the TaxSlayer Bowl in Jacksonville, leading the Hawkeyes 35-7 at the half. While Tennessee has looked good, Iowa has looked downright awful and the most glaring example of that came on the kickoff after Tennessee's fourth touchdown.
The Hawkeyes' return man had a mental lapse and as his momentum carried him out of bounds at the three, he just decided to toss the ball back onto the field.
A Tennessee player jumped on the ball, but luckily for Iowa, it was an illegal forward lateral so the ball was dead the moment he threw it forward so they retained possession. This is pretty much how the entire afternoon has gone for the Hawkeyes as they look completely out of it against the Vols, and are currently being run out of the building.
