Kirk Herbstreit's top five has a couple newcomers after a slate of incredible games

Alabama is still at the top though.

Kirk Herbstreit has released his top five teams yet again after a fun slate of games in Week 3. There was Pac 12 after dark insanity, some controversial plays and one huge blowout. After a 63-20 win by Louisville over Florida State —- a historic loss for FSU —- Herbstreit moved the Cards up to No. 3 in his rankings.

Clemson managed to hang in there thanks to a 59-0 drubbing of South Carolina State where quarterback Deshaun Watson only had to play for a half. Stanford got a 27-10 win over USC and Ohio State beat No. 14 Oklahoma in  Norman 45-24. Alabama avoided a third straight loss to Ole Miss with a 48-43 win in Oxford.
