Bell committed to Maryland back on Jan. 1 and was an early enrollee for the Terrapins. However, he was suspended indefinitely for unknown reasons and has not played a single snap this season.

The 6-foot-3, 194-pound freshman was ranked as the No. 5 athlete in the class of 2017 as well as the No. 1 player in the state of New Jersey, according to ESPN. He took official visits to Clemson, Ohio State, Rutgers, and Virginia Tech before committing to Maryland. However, it remains to be seen if those schools are still contenders to land him as a transfer.
