Four-star offensive guard Emil Ekiyor is the top recruit in the state of Indiana, but he has been committed to Michigan since October. However, it looks like that commitment might be wavering a bit as he describes the offer he just received to BamaOnline.
"Like a dream come true," Ekiyor told BamaOnLine of the moment Saban offered. "He was like we want you to know you now have an offer from the University of Alabama and we want you here."
He has also been looking at Florida State and Georgia in addition to Alabama. Ekiyor has plans to return to Alabama later in the year as well so it's looking like that Michigan commitment might not be as solid as Jim Harbaugh would hope.
247Sports has the 6'2", 322-pound Ekiyor ranked as the No. 4 offensive guard in the 2018 class and has over 30 offers from the likes of Florida, Auburn, Oklahoma, Oregon and Tennessee among others. However, the crystal ball gives him a 50 percent chance of landing with Tennessee and the other half split between Michigan and Notre Dame evenly.
