George Takacs is a three-star tight end in the class of 2018, but his height and abilities will likely get him a fourth star down the road. He's 6'6" and 235 pounds with the ability to play on the line, catch balls and even split into the backfield so he's got some pretty good offers with 23 schools total interested in him.
However, there are three schools currently standing out to him right now and one includes a hometown school pretty close to him.
"Right now, I would say my top three are Georgia, Florida, and Wisconsin, but that can change at anytime," Takacs told 247Sports.
He explained what he liked about each school and the Gators had the advantage in that he grew up watching them and likes how their offense works. He also said that the coaching staff said they would use him in all three facets of the game; to block, catch from the tight end spot and to split out in the backfield.
Takacs is ranked as the No. 28 tight end right now by 247Sports and the No. 125 recruit in the state of Florida. All three crystal predictions have him staying in the state and going to Gainesville to become a Gator right now. He also holds offers from Maryland, Oregon, Tennessee and Miami among others.
Here's some of his highlights:
