Nation’s top OT Devontae Dobbs unveils one College Football Playoff contender that’s made his top 5

He is not messing around.

Devontae Dobbs, the nation's top two-way lineman for the 2019 national recruiting cycle, has named Ohio State as one of his favorite college choices, according to 247Sports (subscription required).

"(Ohio State) is in my top five," the 6'4", 270-pound Dobbs told Bucknuts after Friday Night Lights.

Dobbs has previously visited Ohio State and plans to make another trip to Columbus this season.

"Right now, I just know the Ohio State-Oklahoma game," Dobbs said when asked about specific games he hopes to visit. "But most definitely I want to go to the Ohio State-Michigan game wherever that one is."

Dobbs currently has 38 total scholarship offers including Michigan, Alabama, Florida State, Tennessee and Penn State.

The junior lineman is expected to announce his Top 15 on Aug. 23, although he said his final 15 could still change as he learns more about other programs.

"There's some offers I'd still like to get like Texas, Ole Miss and USC," Dobbs said.

It sounds like that top 15 could be pretty loaded when he does decide to release it. Dobbs is rated as the No. 14 overall recruit and top recruit in Michigan according to 247Sports.
