Nebraska loses four-star recruit amid its huge coaching change

That's a bummer for these guys.

While Nebraska fans are likely celebrating the return of their prodigal son in Scott Frost, they won't be too happy about the loss of four-star athlete Mario Goodrich. He took to Twitter to make his decommitment announcement official:

Thank you Coach Riley, Donte, and the rest of The University of Nebraska staff for giving me this great opportunity. Lastly I would like to THANK! The FANS!! you guy are great! After speaking with my parents and with their support I have decided to open my recruitment back up. Thank you NEBRASKA! It was a humbling experience!!

The Missouri native is ranked as the No. 5 athlete in the class of 2018 and No. 4 player in the state according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound receiver, cornerback and returner has offers from Georgia, Iowa, Iowa State and Michigan among otherrs.
