Well, Miller didn't transfer to Alabama. Instead, he switched positions at Ohio State and became a wide receiver, something that allowed the Buckeyes to take advantage of his talent and allowed Miller to raise his draft stock. From the site of the Senior Bowl, Miller discussed the rumors and explained how they came about in the first place.
From AL.com:
"That's where I was doing my rehab at so people thought I was going down there to visit Alabama," Miller said.
Looking back on it, Miller laughed at all the attention he got in Alabama as rumors swirled.
"Yeah man, but it got me a lot of Alabama fans, though," Miller said. "They're very friendly. I appreciate all the Alabama fans who accepted me. But there was a lot of things going on outside of that."
Miller was rehabbing a shoulder injury that kept him out for the entire 2014 season. However, all of the rumors make perfect sense now, especially if Miller spent a lot of time rehabbing in the area.
Speaking of Miller, the position change seems to be working out for him. He looked like a star during the season playing "H-back" for the Buckeyes, and he is showing out in drills ahead of the Senior Bowl.
Looks like Miller made the right decision to stay at Ohio State and a make the position change.
