Cardale Jones disagrees with Dabo Swinney winning Coach of the Year

Clemson's Dabo Swinney led the school to one of their best — if not the best — season in school history. The 14-1 Tigers reached the national title game, and they played Alabama just as well as any team has so far this season in a 45-40 loss to the Crimson Tide.

That performance earned Swinney several Coach of the Year awards, which most feel are well deserved. Well, Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones disagrees.

Well, it isn't exactly easy to disagree with Cardale here. Herman did have a spectacular season with Houston, going 13-1 and ending the season with a big Peach Bowl victory over Florida State.

Of course, that is the great thing about these awards; sometimes there just isn't a clear winner. However, I think it is pretty clear here that there is nothing wrong with Swinney winning the award this year, and that Tom Herman will have his chance over the next few years if he continues to build the program at Houston.
