According to USA Today's Danny Sheridan, one of college football's super powers isn't going to have such a great year in 2016.
"I would be surprised if Ohio State wins 9 games" is one heck of a statement, especially considering the Buckeyes have won 50 games in just the last four seasons under Urban Meyer, including a National Championship win.
Most wouldn't consider nine wins a bad season, especially when they're just 10-12 games played all year, but in a sport where one loss could mean the difference in a playoff bid and a bowl game no one cares for, nine wins is a death sentence essentially.
The Buckeyes did lose a lot to the NFL Draft. Joey Bosa, Ezekiel Elliott, Eli Apple and Co. have all moved on so there will be major holes to fill on both sides of the ball.
