Four-star and 6'5" OT Michael Tarquin says one school is 'extremely high' on his list after visit

Will he end up committing there though?

Michael Tarquin is a tremendous prospect, in part because of his very impressive 6-foot-5, 290-pound frame as a high school junior. With that in mind, Tarquin is in high demand as a recruit, but in speaking with Bill Kurelic of 247Sports, the 2019 prospect reflected quite positively on the Ohio State Buckeyes.

"Everything impressed me. I really like coach (Greg) Stud(rawa) and coach (Urban) Meyer. I really liked hanging out with some of the players. The game was amazing. I wish they would have won, but I know they will still have a great season."

Tarquin recently visited Columbus and, in addition to those positive comments, he declared that the Buckeyes are "extremely high" on his list of potential suitors.

"Ohio State is extremely high on my list. I'd say they are at the top with a few others. Miami, Michigan, and Clemson is also high."

At the moment, Tarquin ranks as the No. 19 offensive tackle in the class of 2019 according to 247Sports and there is still plenty of time for him to grow into that massive frame. For now, though, Ohio State looks to be in good position to land the talented tackle from the state of Florida.
