Former four-star TE Kierre Hawkins transferring out of Ohio State

Looks like one school is getting lucky with this one.

Former four-star tight end in the class of 2016 Kierre Hawkins has announced that he will be transferring out of Ohio State. He made the announcement on his private Instagram account, which of course has resulted in people taking pictures of it:

Hawkins redshirted the 2016 season and did not appear on the field in the spring due to academic issues. He has not seen the field at all this season either. It looks like he will stay close to home by going to Youngstown State —- he's from Maple Heights —- and will give Bo Pelini a high-major talent to work with next season assuming he is eligible to play right away since he is moving down divisions to FCS.

The 6-foot-4, 225-pound tight end was a four-star recruit in the class of 2016 and was ranked as the No. 13 player at his position and No. 12 player in the state according to 247Sports.
