Ohio State received good injury news from a 2017 five-star commit

Injuries have plagued Ohio State's recruiting class, but this is good news for the Buckeyes.

It has been less than a month since five-star wide receiver Trevon Grimes was declared out for the remainder of the 2016 season as a result of a torn ACL. Earlier this week, however, Grimes posted a video to Twitter that certainly qualifies as fantastic news for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Grimes has been committed to play for Urban Meyer and company since August, when he joined fellow elite wide receiver Tyjon Lindsey in announcing their pledge in a unique way. Since then, the 6-foot-3, 202-pound pass-catcher from Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) has encountered a bevy of injury issues, but Grimes' recovery seems to be going very well at this point given what he displayed in this video.

Ohio State still boasts the top recruiting class in the country when it comes to 2017, and Grimes is a big part of that. With that said, the Buckeyes were likely worried, at least to some degree, when the ACL tear occurred and this is splendid news for a team that is already quite loaded moving forward.
