Ohio State's new equipment gives Michigan's Jordan brand a serious run for its money

The Buckeyes look to one up Michigan with some new gear for their showdown Saturday.

Ohio State and Michigan might be college football's most bitter rivals.

So, it's only natural that the Buckeyes would try and one up the Wolverines at some point after they signed a deal to sport Michael Jordan's Jumpman logo on their uniforms and gear this season.

Just ahead of their annual showdown this weekend, that day appears to be here. Being that the school resides in LeBron James' beloved Ohio, the Buckeyes are choosing to capitalize on that association with plans to wear some King James-inspired gear for the game.

Details are sketchy, but Buckeyes wide receiver Corey Smith posted a picture of himself on Twitter decked out in what looks like LeBron's basketball sneakers with cleats on the bottom.
