The 2015 college football season did not go particularly well for the Ohio State Buckeyes, at least according to the impossibly high standards set by Urban Meyer since his arrival in Columbus. However, that won't temper any enthusiasm for the 2016 campaign, and this hype video released by Urban Nation on YouTube plays into that theme.
This three-minute, 19-second clip of various Buckeyes highlights from the recent past will get any Ohio State's blood pumping, and there are a number of memorable moments included. The first football footage includes now-NFL linebacker Darron Lee chasing down former Michigan quarterback Devin Gardner, and various clips from Ohio State's 2014 national title run are included in the festivities.
In fact, the entire closing montage serves as a reminder that Meyer and the Buckeyes stood atop the college football world just 20 months ago, and expectations are, once again, through the roof for Ohio State. This is a team that lost more than any other in college football when it came to the 2015 NFL Draft, but that won't slow the hype train and, after watching this video, it is easy to see why.
Ohio State opens its 2016 schedule on Sept. 3 against the Bowling Green Falcons in the Horseshoe, and that countdown is on to kick-off.
