Operating in the sports world with the name "Michael Jordan" can't be easy for anyone, but this true freshman at Ohio State is making the most of his opportunity. Jordan, who enrolled in Columbus in January, has been a standout force for the Buckeyes since arriving on campus and, at this point, it looks as if the 6-foot-7, 310-pound offensive lineman will be garnering real playing time and, potentially, a starting spot.

Jordan addressed the assembled media earlier this week, and Bill Landis of Cleveland.com brings details of that conversation:
"I have a one-track mind. I came in here and said I'm gonna go as hard as I possibly can and see the results. You can't come into a place like this scared. If you come in here and you're not going full speed, you're gonna get left behind."
While much of that seems to be run-of-the-mill athlete speak, Jordan did open up on his goal being to open the season as a starter for Urban Meyer's team:
"The goal is always to start, always. No matter where I went it was always to start. It was just a matter of opportunity and I got my opportunity here."
