Taron Vincent is one of the recruiting jewels of the 2018 class. The 6'2, 285-pound defensive tackle from IMG Academy ranks as the No. 1 defensive tackle prospect in the country and with that comes a top-10 overall ranking across the board. Given that immense pedigree, it comes as no surprise that Vincent is being coveted by the best of the best but, if a recent interview is any indication, it seems that the nation's top defensive tackle has narrowed his options to two.
Josh Newberg of 247Sports brings word from Vincent himself:
"Florida State and Ohio State are pretty much even. I'm going to take one more visit to Ohio State with my mom and dad and then I'll probably have my mind narrowed between those two. I'm going there during spring break."

Jimbo Fisher and Urban Meyer should probably be thrilled to simply be included within Vincent's top two but there is plenty of work to be done. Both programs are known for recruiting at the absolute highest level and, with the exception of Alabama, few recruit with the same effectiveness as the Seminoles and Buckeyes.
There is a long way to go before Vincent has to make a decision but all indications are that he has a two-horse race and the pursuit should be entertaining.
