Purdue doesn't have a lot going for them this season, so it is definitely worth their while for the Boilermakers to attempt a trick play or two to try and gain an advantage when they can.
They might need to work on this one, though.

The worst part? It kind of worked! Penn State had no idea that the ball had been snapped, save for one defender. The problem for Purdue, though, was that once the defense realized what was going on, the managed to snuff out the play rather easily.
Maybe next time, Purdue.
