First off I would like to thank the man above for continuously blessing me to wake up every morning and allowing me to do what I love. I'm also blessed for this entire recruiting process and I couldn't ask for anything more. I'd like to thank my parents for bringing me into this world and raising me to be the person I am today. I would also like to thank my coaches, anyone who has ever taught me anything about football and everyone I've ever played with or against. After thinking this over carefully with my family, I would like to announce that I will be continuing my football career at the University of Maryland!!
Jones also had offers from Syracuse, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia.
Jones, rated a four-star by ESPN and Rivals, is Maryland's 17th commitment for the 2018 class, which currently ranks fourth in the Big Ten in 247Sports' recruiting rankings.
