There usually aren't too many things to take away from spring games because there are usually some injuries, the newest class of freshman aren't all on campus and it's not a full contact game. However, that doesn't stop people from putting together power rankings of how teams look after these glorified spring scrimmages.
The Sporting News did exactly that and it doesn't seem that the SEC impressed them very much. There were only two schools in the top ten from the conference with four in the top 15 and only six in the top 25. The SEC East champs aren't even on the list while the other two schools competing to take their crown are on here.
